In this project, I will visualize the U.S. homeless population distribution data. It includes five types of charts.
A proportional symbol map will display each state's location and total amount. Pie charts will show each state's categorical breakdown. A horizontal bar chart will compare state totals and help identify which states have the largest homeless populations. A line chart will show changes over time. Finally, a parallel coordinate plot will display multiple variables simultaneously(state, total homeless population, sheltered, unsheltered, chronic, and family categories).
Through these visualizations, users will gain a comprehensive understanding of homelessness distribution across U.S. states.
